A real shift
Collects a room list in the morning, works through check-outs and stay-overs with a trolley, reports maintenance faults and lost property, and finishes once the board is clear. Targets of around 12 to 16 rooms are common but vary.

Qualifications
- No formal requirement; COSHH and manual handling training
- Level 2 Housekeeping apprenticeship routes exist
- Internationally: AHLEI guest room attendant certification
