Holiday park / leisure resort manager

Runs a holiday park or leisure resort, including accommodation, food and drink, entertainment and owners' relations. Many UK parks combine rented holiday lets with privately owned static caravans and lodges, so selling and supporting owners is a big part of the role. Site licensing under caravan site legislation, fire safety and water safety are core responsibilities.

A real shift

Long seasons, with peak summer weeks that run seven days. Days mix operations meetings, walking the park, dealing with guests and owners, and supporting holiday home sales. Winter brings maintenance, refurbishments and recruitment for the next season.
