Social media manager (hospitality)

Runs social channels for hospitality venues or groups, creating content and building community. Short-form video now drives much of the discovery for restaurants and bars, so this role can directly move bookings. It also means handling complaints in public and working with influencers under ASA disclosure rules.

A real shift

Shooting content in venues around service times, often with chefs and bartenders on camera. Scheduling posts, replying to comments and messages, and flagging reviews to managers. Weekly reports on reach, engagement and bookings help decide what to do next.
